RESOLUTION NO. 23-
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY AUTHORIZING
THE ADDITION OF A BUDGETED THIRD POLICE CAPTAIN
WHEREAS , the Fiscal Year 2022 -2023 budget includes funding for two full-time classifications of Police Captain, and
WHEREAS , the addition of a third full-time Police Captain addresses the operational needs of the Department.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Approve the addition of a third Police Captain position in the Downey Police Department budget for the remainder of fiscal year 2022/23.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this resolution.
