EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The City Council will consider adopting a resolution to appoint Mr. Ernesto Valle to replace the existing Commissioner on the Recreation and Community Services Commission for Council District 5.
RECOMMENDATION
That the City Council:
Adopt Resolution No. 24-8225, approving the appointment of Ernesto Valle to replace the existing Commissioner on the Recreation and Community Services Commission for Council District 5.
DISCUSSION
Pursuant to Downey City Charter Section 902, Mayor Mario Trujillo recommends approval of the following individual to replace the existing member of the Recreation and Community Services Commission for Council District 5.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY
APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF ERNESTO VALLE TO REPLACE THE
EXISTING COMMISSIONER ON THE RECREATION AND COMMUNITY
SERVICES COMMISSION FOR COUNCIL DISTRICT 5
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Ernesto Valle is hereby appointed to the Recreation and Community Services Commission for Council District 5 for the term expiring December 2024, replacing the existing Commissioner.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and transmit a copy thereof to the appointee.
