EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The City Council will consider adopting a resolution to appoint Ms. Mia Vasquez to replace the existing member on the Public Works Committee for Council District 3.
RECOMMENDATION
That the City Council:
Adopt Resolution No. 24-8236, Approving the Appointment of Mia Vasquez to Replace the Existing Member on the Public Works Committee for Council District
3. DISCUSSION
Pursuant to Downey City Charter Section 902, Council Member Pemberton recommends approval of Mia Vasquez to replace the existing member of the Public Works Committee for Council District 3.

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY
APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF MIA VASQUEZ TO REPLACE THE
EXISTING MEMBER ON THE PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE FOR COUNCIL DISTRICT 3
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Mia Vasquez is hereby appointed to the Public Works Committee for Council District 3 for the term expiring December 2024, replacing the existing Commissioner.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and transmit a copy thereof to the appointee.
