SUBJECT:ADOPTION OF A RESOLUTION APPROVING APPOINTMENT TO THE PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE FOR COUNCIL DISTRICT 5
EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
The City Council will consider adopting a resolution to appoint Ms. Primavera Banuelos to the Public Works Committee for Council District 5.
RECOMMENDATION
That the City Council:
Adopt Resolution No. 26-8357, approving the appointment of Primavera Banuelos to the Public Works Committee for Council District 5.
BACKGROUND
Pursuant to the Downey City Charter Section 902, Council Member Mario Tujillo recommends approval of the appointment of Primavera Banuelos to the Public Works Committee for Council District 5.

RESOLUTION NO. 26-8357
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY
APPROVING THE APPOINTMENT OF PRIMAVERA BANUELOS TO THE
PUBLIC WORKS COMMITTEE FOR COUNCIL DISTRICT 5
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DOWNEY DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Primavera Banuelos is hereby appointed to the Public Works Committee for Council District 5 for the term expiring December 2028.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and transmit a copy thereof to the appointee.
APPROVED AND ADOPTED this 26th day of May, 2026.
