A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAST PALO ALTO
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO INCREASE THE RICOH DIGITAL
SERVICES CONTRACT AND PURCHASE ORDER IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO
EXCEED SEVENTEEN THOUSAND SIX HUNDRED FIVE DOLLARS AND THIRTY SIX CENTS ($17,605.36)
WHEREAS, the City of East Palo Alto (“City”) entered into a 3-year lease agreement on September 26, 2016, with Ricoh Digital Services (Ricoh) for six copiers located throughout City offices; and
WHEREAS, the lease agreement expired on September 26, 2019, and the City has been on a month-to-month lease agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City currently owes Ricoh a total of $17,605.36, comprised of both equipment ($11,234.18), and printing, taxes, and service costs ($6,371.18), and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAST PALO ALTO hereby
authorizes the City Manager to increase the Ricoh Digital Services contract and purchase order in an amount not to exceed Seventeen Thousand Six Hundred Five Dollars and Thirty Six Cents ($17,605.36).
