RESOLUTION NO. XX – 2022
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF EAST PALO ALTO
APPROVING THE FISCAL YEAR 2021-2022 CLASSIFICATION PLAN FOR ALL CITY
CLASSIFICATIONS
WHEREAS, East Palo Alto Municipal Code Section 2.8.050A requires preparation, installation, revision and maintenance of a position classification plan covering all positions in the competitive service, including employment standards and qualifications for each class; and WHEREAS, City Personnel Policies and Procedures Section 3.4.02 requires the Personnel Officer to administer the Classification Plan and review and allocate each position to its proper class and salary range; and
WHEREAS, the budgeted Classification Plan for FY2021-22 consists of 117.75 positions; and WHEREAS, the City Council finds and determines that herein-referenced FY 2021-2022 Classification Plan establish total budgeted and planned positions (i.e. the Classification Plan); in accordance with local and State requirements.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAST PALO ALTO HEREBY approves the FY 2021-2022 Classification Plan, as set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and incorporated herein by this reference.
