RESOLUTION NO. XX – 2022
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF EAST PALO ALTO
APPROVING THE UNIVERSITY CIRCLE PARCEL MAP, ACCEPTING THE EASEMENT FOR THE
UNIVERSITY AVENEUE PEDESTRIAN OVERCROSSING, ABANDONING THE EXISITING PUBLIC
UTILITY EASEMENTS WITHING THE PROPERTY, AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ENTER
INTO AN EASEMENT AGREEMENT WITH UNIVERSITY CIRCLE
WHEREAS, City Staff has been working with the University Circle Development team on a parcel map update for their property; and
WHEREAS, the map currently includes the necessary easement for the future pedestrian overcrossing, the abandonment of Public Utility Easements within the property, and various clean up items that do not affect the form or function of the map; and WHEREAS, an Easement Agreement will be necessary to capture the use and limitations of the proposed easement; and
WHEREAS, Staff recommends the approval of the map, easements, and agreement with University Circle.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAST PALO ALTO HEREBY approves the parcel map, accepts the easement for the University Pedestrian Overcrossing, abandons the existing Public Utility Easements within the property, and authorizes the City Manager to enter into an easement agreement with University Circle.
