RESOLUTION NO. XX – 2022
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF EAST PALO ALTO
APPROVING THE PLANS, SPECIFICATIONS, AND ESTIMATES FOR THE ANNUAL STREET RESURFACING PROJECT 2022 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE THE
PROJECT TO SOLICIT BIDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION PHASE
WHEREAS, the Capital Improvement Program includes funding for the ongoing Annual Street Rehabilitation/Preventive Maintenance Program, for this year named the Annual Street Resurfacing and Maintenance Project 2022 (CIP Project ST-07-22); and WHEREAS, the proposed project includes pavement rehabilitation, signage, striping, sidewalk, bicycle and pedestrian improvements city wide; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works and Transportation Commission, at its February 16, 2022 meeting, approved the Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E) for the Annual Street Resurfacing Project, 2022; and
WHEREAS, Staff recommends approval of the PS&E for the Annual Street Resurfacing and Maintenance Project 2022 (CIP Project ST-07-22).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAST PALO ALTO HEREBY approves the Plans, Specifications, and Estimates for the Annual Street Resurfacing and Maintenance Project 2022 and authorizes the City Manager to advertise the project to solicit bids for the construction phase.
