Construction Management Services Bay Road Improvements Phase II/III Project Federal-Aid Project No. HPLUL-5438 (011) - City Contract No. CIP-ST-05A-13 Dear Mr. Javed,
As previously discussed, Zoon Engineering is requesting additional funds in amount of $49,830.00 related to the construction management services for the Bay Road Improvements project. The construction of the project was completed in February 2022. The initial proposal by Zoon Engineering was based on the original project schedule with an anticipated completion around the end of Summer 2021. Since then, Zoon Engineering has worked within the project budget to provide additional services until March 2022. However, City Staff has requested additional support services to close out all outstanding change orders, attend various meetings, close out grant documentation with Caltrans, support PG&E work along Bay Road, and prepare a claim settlement report through June 2022.

NOTE: The hours listed provide for preparing a claim settlement report if a global settlement is reached between the City and Teichert on the NOPCs. This forecast does not cover extensive efforts needed to provide for claims and dispute resolution support.
