Subject: Amendment #3 to the Scope and Budget for the Pulgas Avenue Library Acquisition Environmental Review
Dear Mr. Heisinger:
David J. Powers & Associates, Inc. (DJP&A) is requesting an amendment to our scope of work and budget for the Pulgas Avenue Library Property Acquisition Initial Study to replenish budget temporarily reallocated from the Initial Study to cover additional work related to hazardous materials investigations.
On June 2, 2022, the City authorized reallocation of $14,937 of the budget previously assigned to preparation of the Initial Study to be used to cover the increased work associated with completion of the Phase II Subsurface Investigation. Once the City has decided to continue with the acquisition process, including completion of the Initial Study, we would request a budget amendment to provide the funds needed for DJP&A to draft the Initial Study. A breakdown of this budget amendment request is included in the table on the following page.
