RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF EAST PALO ALTO
AUTHORIZING THE PURCHASE OF COMPUTER EQUIPMENT, RELATED
PERIPHERALS, AND NETWORK HARDWARE FROM CDW-G THROUGH THE OMNIA PARTNERS AGREEMENT NUMBER 2018011, FOR A TOTAL PURCHASE AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED THREE-HUNDRED SEVEN THOUSAND DOLLARS ($307,000) THROUGH JUNE 30, 2024; AND WAIVING THE FORMAL BID PROCEDURES UNDER SECTION 2.84.070(D) OF THE MUNICIPAL CODE.
WHEREAS, the City requires a significant update to computer equipment, related peripherals, and network hardware; and
WHEREAS, the Omnia Partners Agreement Number 2018011 with the City of Mesa, Arizona is a competitively bid purchase contract; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAST PALO ALTO hereby:
1. Authorizes the purchase of computer equipment, related peripherals, and network hardware from CDW-G through the Omnia Partners Agreement Number 2018011, for a total purchase amount not to exceed Three-Hundred Seven Thousand Dollars ($307,000) through June 30, 2024; and
2. Waives the formal bid procedures under section 2.84.070(D) of the Municipal Code.
