RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF EAST PALO ALTO
RATIFYING PREVIOUS PURCHASES FROM CONNECTION IN THE AMOUNT OF THIRTEEN THOUSAND FOUR HUNDRED EIGHTY-THREE DOLLARS AND EIGHTYEIGHT CENTS ($13,483.88) WHEREAS, the City’s Purchasing Limit Guideline provides that purchases between $10,000 and $27,000 from a vendor during the fiscal year are to be based on a minimum of 3 bids and awarded to the lowest responsible bidder; and WHEREAS, staff purchased software licenses totaling Thirteen Thousand Four Hundred Eighty-Three Dollars and Eighty-Eight Cents ($13,483.88) from Connection without adhering to the guidelines; and
WHEREAS, those software licenses are needed by the City and have been paid for;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAST PALO ALTO hereby ratifies the purchase of software from Connection in the amount of Thirteen Thousand Four Hundred Eighty-Three Dollars and Eighty-Eight Cents ($13,483.88).
