RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF EAST PALO ALTO
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE A CONTRACT WITH FRANK AND GROSSMAN LANDSCAPE CONTRACTORS, INC. FOR FIVE (5) YEARS WITH
TWO ONE-YEAR EXTENSIONS AT THE DISCRETION OF THE CITY MANAGER
FOR CITY FACILITIES JANITORIAL SERVICES IN AN AMOUNT NOT TO EXCEED $150,000 ANNUALLY.
WHEREAS, the City currently has a facility janitorial services agreement with Enviro Clean Maintenance for routine city facility cleaning which expires on November 30, 2022; and
WHEREAS, on March 25, 2022, staff released a Request for Proposal (RFP) to seek professional janitorial services for facilities city-wide; and WHEREAS, the city received total of ten (10) proposals; and WHEREAS an evaluation committee comprised of city staff rated Frank and Grossman Landscape Contractors, Inc. as the highest rated proposer; and WHEREAS, Frank and Grossman Landscape Contractors, Inc. meets all the minimum qualifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAST PALO ALTO HEREBY authorizes the City Manager to execute a contract with Frank and Grossman Landscape Contractors, Inc. for five (5) years with additional two one-year extensions at the discretion of the City Manager for city facilities janitorial services in an amount not to exceed $150,000 annually.
