RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAST PALO ALTO
AUTHORIZING PAYMENTS TO OPPENHEIMER INVESTIGATION GROUP, AND MRG,
LLC CONSULTING SERVICES,
WHEREAS, the City retained Oppenheimer Investigation Group to perform outside investigative services needed to support the City during FY 2021-2022; and WHEREAS, the sum originally authorized for payment was insufficient to cover the services rendered and the work has been completed with Oppenheimer Investigation Group; and
WHEREAS, the City retained MRG, LLC Consulting Services for legal support services to the Human Resources Department with an agreement expiration date of December 2021; and
WHEREAS, the City desires to amend the agreement with MRG, LLLC Consulting Services to extend it to run retroactive from January 1, 2022, to December 31, 2023; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAST PALO ALTO that it authorizes the City Manager to:
1. Process a closing payment to Oppenheimer Investigative Group in the amount to $7,200;
2. Authorize the City Manager to extend the agreement with MRG LLC Consulting Services to December 31, 2023; and
