RE: EPA City Council Chambers and Police Evidence Room – Separate the Offices from the Council Chambers to bid out the Offices.
Dear Humza,
I am pleased to provide a fee proposal to provide Architectural and Engineering Services to separate our completed construction documents into bid documents just for the offices and add a new door between the Council Chambers and the Offices, located where the Police Evidence room was located. Listed below are the different Engineering disciplines:
Structural Engineering – Structus = $7,800.00
Mechanical / Plumbing – H& M = $2,500.00
Electrical Engineering – Zeiger = $4, 200.00
AV Acoustical Eng. - Charles H. Salter = $4,500.00
Architect- PPA = $21,950.00
Our team will have to remobilize to organize the re-start of this project. We also have to provide the following services which include the following:
Confirm any new program changes to the spaces and document them. Research current code requirements and update documents per code changes Coordinate these changes amongst the team.
Document these changes in the construction set.
Meet with building and planning departments to confirm that team is meeting all recent changes in the code.
Obtain building and Planning department approval.
Bid the documents
Assist in Construction Administration.
Therefore, our total fees are $40,950 (Forty Thousand Nine Hundred Fifty Dollars) Note: This proposal does not include the following:

Asbestos and/or Hazard Material investigation and design removal is not part of our scope.
A soils report and survey are available for design purposes and if not, there is a need for these items
Preliminary Cost estimates are per gross square foot cost only Changes and modifications of the drawings at no fault of the Architect will be an additional service
Meetings beyond the scope outlined above in the Scope of work.
