A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF EAST PALO ALTO
APPROVING THE DESIGN OF THE WOODLAND AVENUE WATER MAIN AND CITY OF PALO ALTO INTERCONNECT PROJECT; AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO ADVERTISE
THE PROJECT FOR CONSTRUCTION BIDS
WHEREAS, the City’s 2022 Water System Master Plan identified priority water infrasture projects to be completed within five years; and
WHEREAS, the Woodland Avenue water main and City of Palo Alto interconnect project is a priority project identified in the Water System Master Plan; and WHEREAS, the 100% design plans for the Woodland Avenue water main and City of Palo Alto interconnect project is complete; and
WHEREAS, the City has completed its agreement with the City of Palo Alto in order to construct this project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAST PALO ALTO HEREBY:
1. Finds the foregoing recitals are true and correct, and are incorporated by this reference into this action; and
2. Approves the design and the funding strategy including the related transfer of the Woodland Avenue water main and City of Palo Alto interconnect project; and
3. Authorizes the City Manager to advertise the project for construction bids. 2 of 2
