The El Centro City Council met in special joint session with El Centro Regional Medical Center, Board of Trustees, on Monday, October 28, 2024 at 5:01 p.m. in RDA Conference Room, 1249 Main Street, El Centro, California, for closed session meeting.
PRESENT: Council: Cardenas-Singh, Oliva, Marroquin, Garcia, Carter City Clerk Wyles, City Manager Ceseña, City Attorney Martyn Evans ALSO PRESENT: Hospital Board of Trustees Representation:
Board President Oliva, Vice Board President Marroquin, Trustees Cardenas-Singh, Garcia, Carter, Maysent, Tomaszewski; and Executive Board Secretary Belen Gonzalez.
Hospital Administrative Staff: Luis Castro, COO, Suzanne Martinez, CNO, David Momberg, CFO, Kimberly Probus, Dr. Seung Gwon, Veronica Marsich, Douglas Habib, Matt Nilsen, Hayes Herd, Dr. Sunny Richley
Pledge of Allegiance was led by Board President Tomás Oliva.

TRADE SECRETS
The City Council will recess to a joint closed session with the ECRMC Board pursuant to Govt. Code Sections 37606.1(b) for the purpose of discussion and/or deliberation of reports involving hospital trade secret(s) as defined in subdivision (d) of Section 3426.1 of the Civil Code and which are necessary, and would, if prematurely disclosed, would create a substantial probability of depriving the hospital of substantial economic benefit:
