This is a public forum regarding the City's proposed terms of transfer of the El Centro Regional Medical Center real estate and license to the Imperial Valley Healthcare District (IVHD).
The public may attend in person. See the instructions below regarding “Notice to the Public”. Any member of the public is invited to submit public comments in advance of the meeting to be read at the meeting. All comments must be about the subject matter of this meeting. Please email your questions to [email protected] or call 760-337-4515 by 4:00 p.m. on March 11, 2025, if possible.

NOTICE TO THE PUBLIC
Any person wishing to address the City Council on any matter on this agenda is asked to complete a “Speaker slip” and submit it to the City Clerk prior to the start of the meeting. Unless the Mayor Pro-Tem extends the time, there is a three-minute time limit for each comment. The decorum for comments is provided on 3-11-25 .

1. Background video regarding the City's role in ECRMC, AB 918, and current negotiations for the transfer of the City's real estate and license to IVHD.
2. Finance Presentation and Impact of Proposed City Payment.
3. Staff report regarding transfer of El Centro Regional Medical Center to IVHD.
4. Public Input/Comments.
5. City Council discussion and action on the City Term Sheet.
