SAN PABLO AVENUE SPECIFIC PLAN UPDATE
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2022 – 5:00 p.m.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the El Cerrito City Council will continue the public hearing process that began on November 15, 2022 to consider the following:
Adoption of the San Pablo Avenue Specific Plan update and corresponding entitlements, including the certification of a Supplemental Environmental Impact Report and corresponding Mitigation Monitoring and Reporting Program, and adoption of associated General Plan Amendment, and amendments to the Municipal Code and Zoning Map.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that said hearing will continue on December 6, 2022 at 5:00 p.m., or thereafter in the City Council Chambers, located at El Cerrito City Hall, 10890 San Pablo Avenue and using the video conferencing platform Zoom.
If public health conditions do not allow for meeting in person, the meeting will be conducted by video conference only, in compliance with the Brown Act, as amended by Assembly Bill 361 (2021). Please refer to the meeting agenda to determine whether the meeting will be in person and by video conference or by video conference only. You can find the agenda at www.elcerrito.org/CouncilMeetingMaterials. It will also be posted at City Hall. The agenda will be available at least 72 hours before the meeting.

ORGANICS COLLECTION AND POST-COLLECTION RATES

Notice is hereby given that the El Cerrito City Council will conduct a public hearing to consider setting the maximum allowable rates for the collection and post-collection of garbage and organics by East Bay Sanitary Company (EBS), effective January 1, 2023.
The collection and post-collection (meaning transfer, transport, disposal and processing) rates are two of the three components of the total solid waste costs paid by El Cerrito residents and businesses. Rates listed below are monthly rates at one pickup per week (except on-call bulk collection, which are as noted). The proposed 2022 EBS Rates are:

Temporary Outdoor Dining and Retail Program Urgency Ordinance TUESDAY, December 6, 2022– 5:00 p.m.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the El Cerrito City Council will conduct a public hearing to consider adopting an urgency ordinance establishing a temporary outdoor dining and retail program. Exempt from CEQA pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3).
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that said hearing will be held on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 5:00 p.m., or thereafter in the City Council Chambers, located at El Cerrito City Hall, 10890 San Pablo Avenue, at which time and place any and all persons interested may be heard thereon.
