NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – EL CERRITO CITY COUNCIL
BUILDING CODE ADOPTION
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 7, 2025– 6:00 P.M.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the El Cerrito City Council will conduct a public hearing to consider adoption of a Resolution which making findings justifying changes to 2025 California Building Standards Code and to waive first reading and introduce an Ordinance amending Title 16 (Buildings and Construction) of the El Cerrito Municipal Code to adopt by reference and amend provisions of the 2025 California Green Code, Administrative, Building, Fire, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, Residential, Existing Building Code, 2024 International Property Maintenance Code, Wildland Urban Interface, and Related Construction Codes as applicable to all construction within the City of El Cerrito, with local modifications as outlined in the Ordinance.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that said hearing will be held on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at 6:00 p.m., or thereafter, in the City Council Chambers, located at El Cerrito City Hall, 10890 San Pablo Avenue and available for viewing only using the video conferencing platform Zoom. Additional information can be found in the meeting materials at www.elcerrito.gov/councilmeetingmaterials available at least 72 hours before the meeting.
