BUILDING CODE ADOPTION
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2025– 6:00 P.M.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the El Cerrito City Council will conduct a second public hearing to consider adoption of an Ordinance amending Title 16 (Buildings and Construction) of the El Cerrito Municipal Code to adopt by reference and amend provisions of the 2025 California Green Code, Administrative, Building, Fire, Plumbing, Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, Residential, Existing Building Code, 2024 International Property Maintenance Code, Wildland Urban Interface, and Related Construction Codes as applicable to all construction within the City of El Cerrito, with local modifications as outlined in the Ordinance.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that said hearing will be held on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 6:00 p.m., or thereafter, in the City Council Chambers, located at El Cerrito City Hall, 10890 San Pablo Avenue and available for viewing only using the video conferencing platform Zoom. Additional information can be found in the meeting materials at www.elcerrito.gov/councilmeetingmaterials available at least 72 hours before the meeting.

MASTER FEE SCHEDULE
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 21, 2025 – 6:00 p.m.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the El Cerrito City Council will conduct a public hearing on Tuesday, October 21, 2025 at 6:00 PM, or as soon as thereafter practicable to consider adopting a resolution making revisions to the Master Fee Schedule for Fiscal Year 2025-26. The Council may continue the hearing from time to time without further written notice.
The revisions to the Master Fee Scheduled will include, but will not be limited to, consideration of revised Subregional Transportation Mitigation Program Fees, Transportation Impact Fee, and Nonresidential Use Permit Fees. The Master Fee Schedule establishes fees for a broad range of services performed by the City, including fees imposed upon development projects pursuant to Government Code section 66017. The Master Fee Schedule proposes to increase the amount of certain existing fees, although all of the fees contained in the Master Fee Schedule are equal to or less than the reasonable cost to the City of providing the relevant service. In accordance with Government Code Section 66016, the proposed Master Fee Schedule will be available for public inspection, review, and comment for ten (10) days prior to the public hearing at which the City Council will consider the resolution, at: https://elcerritoca.portal.civicclerk.com/event/585/overview. The proposed Master Fee Schedule may also be viewed in the Office of the City Clerk at 10890 San Pablo Ave.
