NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – EL CERRITO CITY COUNCIL
FIRE HAZARD REDUCTION
TUESDAY, JUNE 16, 2026– 6:00 p.m.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the El Cerrito City Council will conduct a public hearing to consider adopting a resolution declaring that weeds, rubbish, litter, or other flammable material on certain real property constitutes a public nuisance; and adopting a resolution overriding objections by property owners and ordering the City Manager or their designee to abate certain public nuisances pursuant to El Cerrito Municipal Code Chapter 16.26.
NOTICE IS FURTHER GIVEN that said hearing will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at 6:00 p.m., or thereafter in the City Council Chambers, located at El Cerrito City Hall, 10890 San Pablo Avenue (and via Zoom) at which time and place any and all persons interested may be heard thereon. Additional information can be found in the meeting materials at www.el-cerrito.org/MeetingsandAgendas available at least 72 hours before the meeting.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the El Cerrito City Council will conduct a public hearing regarding transitioning from at-large to district-based elections for City Council members, including review of draft district boundary maps in accordance with Elections Code § 10010.
