The City Council reconvened at 6:15 p.m. with Council Member Nguyen absent .
Mayor Singh-Allen reported by 5 – 0 vote (Ayes: Singh-Allen, Suen, Hume, Nguyen, and Spease), the City Council authorized the City Attorney’s Office to continue to defend the litigation of the following four matters: 1) Jennifer Deal v Cosumnes Community Services District, City of Elk Grove, et al., Sacramento Superior Court Case No. 34-2022-00325924, 2) Faryal Kabir, the guardian of the canine Zeus v City Elk Grove City Council
