Absent: Council Member Nguyen (Council Member Nguyen arrived at 5:10 p.m.).

ity Council reconvened at 6:11 p.m. with Council Member Nguyen absent .
Mayor Singh-Allen reported by 5 – 0 vote (Ayes: Singh-Allen, Suen, Hume, Nguyen, and Spease), the City Council authorized the City Attorney’s Office to defend the litigation of the following three matters: 1) Jolene Ayala and Alyssa Ayala v City of Elk Grove, et al., Sacramento Superior Court Case No. 34-2022-00319618, 2) Kamilchu vs. Miller, Sacramento Superior Court Case No. 34- 2019-00256252, and 3) Ghesal Kabir v City of Elk Grove, Sacramento Superior Court Case No. 34-2022-00327633.
ADJOURNMENT
With no additional business to conduct, the October 12 , 2022 special City Council meeting was adjourned at 6:12 p.m.
