CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL
Mayor Singh-Allen called the special City Council meeting of May 22, 2024, to order at 5:01 p.m.
Present: Mayor Singh-Allen, Vice Mayor Brewer, and Council Member Spease.
Absent: Council Member s Robles and Suen ( Council Member Robles arrived at 5:08 p.m. and Council Member Suen arrived at 5:15 p.m.).
CLOSED SESSION
There were no public requests to speak.
The City Clerk announced the following closed session items prior to the City Council adjourning to closed session at 5:01 p.m.:

ity Council reconvened at 6:06 p.m. with all members present. Mayor Singh- Allen reported by 5 – 0 vote (Ayes: Singh-Allen, Brewer, Robles, Spease, and Suen), the City Council authorized the City Attorney’s Office to initiate litigation on one matter, the name of the defendant and case details were not subject to disclosure at this tim e, but once litigation was filed, the information would be disclosed upon inquiry.
OPEN SESSION
3.1 Council Member Suen presented a proclamation recognizing May 19- 25, 2024 as National Public Works Week to Public Works Director Jeffrey Werner.
ADJOURNMENT
With no additional business to conduct, the May 22, 2024 special City Council meeting was adjourned at 6:11 p.m.
