GENERAL PUBLIC COMMENT:

Liz Marshall believed the Oak Rose Apartments Project should be approved to minimize costs due to litigation with the state, the Coral Blossom Project would then not need to be pursued, and she stated she and community representatives would appreciate having a discussion with City representatives on these matters.

Joyce Lee raised concerns of costs related to the litigation regarding the state and the Oak Rose Apartments Project, of affordable housing projects being built in the community, and for safety and quality of life of residents living in affordable housing units.

Lynn Wheat believed many decisions of the City were made far in advance of public discussion. Ms. Wheat raised concern of the distance senior citizens must traverse from curb side drop off and the parking lot to the Senior Center at District56, and suggested the grass area to the east of the Senior Center be converted into a parking lot to offer parking in closer proximity to the facilities.

Kirk Thomson raised concerns with the use of drone surveillance in the community by the police, and voiced support for locating the zoo in Elk Grove but raised concerns with the presented financing plan.
