CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL
Mayor Singh-Allen called the special City Council meeting of August 28, 2024, to order at 5:00 p.m.
Present: Mayor Singh-Allen and Council Members Robles and Spease.
Absent: Vice Mayor Brewer and Council Member Suen (Vice Mayor Brewer arrived at 5:20 p.m., and Council Member Suen arrived at 5:25 p.m.).
CLOSED SESSION
There were no public requests to speak.
The City Clerk announced the following closed session items prior to the City Council adjourning to closed session at 5:01 p.m.:

Mayor Singh- Allen reported by 5 – 0 vote (Ayes: Singh-Allen, Brewer, Robles, Spease, and Suen), the City Council authorized the City Attorney’s Office to defend the litigation of Nhu Dinh Tran v. City of Elk Grove, et al., Sacramento Superior Court Case No. 24CV015801.
