CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL
Mayor Singh-Allen called the special City Council meeting of May 14, 2025, to order at 5:00 p.m.
Present: Mayor Singh-Allen, Vice Mayor Robles, and Council Members Spease and Suen (via teleconference).
Absent: Council Member Brewer (Council Member Brewer arrived at 5:15 p.m.).
CLOSED SESSION
There were no public requests to speak.
Note: Council Member Suen noted there were no requests to speak from the teleconference location.
The City Clerk announced the following closed session items prior to the City Council adjourning to closed session at 5:02 p.m.:

Mayor Singh- Allen reported by 5 – 0 vote (Ayes: Singh-Allen, Robles, Brewer, Spease, and Suen), the City Council authorized the City Attorney’s Office to defend the litigation matter of Ernest Matthews v. City of Elk Grove Sacramento Superior Court Case No. 25CV008386.
