CALL TO ORDER / ROLL CALL
Mayor Singh-Allen called the special City Council meeting of September 9, 2026, to order at 5:00 p.m.
Present: Mayor Singh-Allen and Council Members Robles and Spease.
Absent: Vice Mayor Suen and Council Member Brewer (Vice Mayor Suen arrived at 5:04 p.m. and Council Member Brewer arrived at 5:15 p.m.).
CLOSED SESSION
There were no public requests to speak.
The City Clerk announced the following closed session items prior to the City Council adjourning to closed session at 5:01 p.m.:

The City Council reconvened at 6:28 p.m. Mayor Singh-Allen reported by 5 – 0 vote (Ayes: Singh-Allen, Suen, Robles, Brewer, and Spease), the City Council authorized the City Attorney’s Office to defend the litigation matter of Ahmad Nassar v. Colby Hanna, et al. United States District Court for the Eastern District of California Case No. 2:25-cv-03326 DJC CKD.
ADJOURNMENT
With no additional business to conduct, the September 9, 2026, special City Council meeting was adjourned at 6:28 p.m.
