This report offers the City Council the opportunity to discuss whether to add a future agenda item to consider directing staff to conduct a tree survey.
DISCUSSION
At the December 21, 2021, regular City Council meeting, Mayor Bauters requested and received majority support that an item be added to the January 18, 2021, City Council meeting agenda for the Council to discuss whether to add a future agenda item to consider directing staff to conduct a city-wide tree survey as a move toward enhancing the urban canopy.
Fiscal Impact
There are no direct fiscal impacts to the City from taking this action.
