Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Emeryville Appointing _____ As Community Member To Serve On The Commission On Aging For A Term Commencing Immediately And Ending June 30, 2025; And Appointing _____ As Resident (94608) To Serve On The Commission On Aging For A Term Commencing Immediately And Ending June 30, 2023; And Amending The FY2021-22 Local Roster Of Boards, Commissions And Committees Accordingly WHEREAS, the Commission on Aging has vacancies for one Community Member with a term ending June 30, 2025, and one Resident (94608) with a term ending June 30, 2023; and
WHEREAS, the vacancies on the Commission on Aging were announced and noticed pursuant to the terms of Government Code Section 54970 et. seq. (the “Maddy Act”); and WHEREAS, the City Council received applications from community members interested in serving on the Commission on Aging; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds that _____ and _____ possess the necessary qualifications to serve on the Commission on Aging; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that _____ is hereby appointed as Community Member to serve on the Commission on Aging for a term commencing immediately and ending June 30, 2025; and, be it, further RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that _____ is hereby appointed as Resident (94608) to serve on the Commission on Aging for a term commencing immediately and ending June 30, 2023; and, be it, further RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that the FY2021-22 Local Roster of Boards, Commissions and Committees is hereby amended to include the aforementioned appointments.
