Why are you interested in serving on this Board, Commission or Committee?* I have been a Board member of the ETMA for the last 6 years and have continued to expand my knowledge of how the ETMA and Emery Go-Round functions. Before the inclusion of residential property owners in the current PBID, I attended almost every Board Meeting of the ETMA for 4 or 5 years, so l am very familiar with various budgetary and other challenges that need to be addressed on a regular basis to keep the Emery Go- Round system running reliably while at the same time respecting fiscal responsibilities. I've been a supporter of and have used public transit for most of my working life and now in retirement. (I'm very aware that the Emery Go-Round is not a traditional public transit system; however, it is open to the public and is paid for by Emeryville residential and business property owners through a PBID and has been a tremendous asset to everyone residing in, working in or visiting the City.) It is important to me that the Emery Go-Round continues to provide reliable service to residents along with the businesses, shoppers and other users in an efficient, reliable and fiscally responsible manner.

PLANNING COMMISSION APPLICANTS ONLY
