Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Emeryville Authorizing The City Manager To Execute A Professional Services Contract With Second Sight Video And Multimedia For Fiscal Years 2022-2023 And 2023-2024, To Provide Broadcasting, Recording And Related Services For A Total Amount Of $96,000.00 WHEREAS, the City of Emeryville (“City”) regularly broadcasts and records the meetings of the City Council and related legislative bodies, Planning Commission, and the ECCL Governance Committee; and
WHEREAS, the City also requires a variety of video-related services, such as the recording and broadcasting of community meetings and events, as well as the inclusion of special features and community affairs programming on its Cable Television Access Channel 27 (ETV), and the City’s YouTube Channel; and
WHEREAS, the City finds that specialized knowledge, skills, and training are necessary to provide the above services; and
WHEREAS, the City has determined that Second Sight Video and Multimedia is qualified to render such services; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that the City Manager is authorized to enter into a Professional Service Contract hereto attached with Second Sight Video and Multimedia for Fiscal Years 2022-2023 and 2023-2024, to provide broadcasting, recording and related services for a total amount of $96,000.00.
