Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Emeryville Appointing _____ As Business Representative Or Community Member To Serve On The Bicycle / Pedestrian Advisory Committee For A Term Commencing Immediately And Ending June 30, 2023; And Appointing _____ As Business Representative Or Community Member, And _____, _____, _____ And _____ As Community Members To Serve On The Bicycle / Pedestrian Advisory Committee For Terms Commencing July 1, 2022, And Ending June 30, 2024; And Amending The FY2022-23 Local Roster Of Boards, Commissions And Committees Accordingly
WHEREAS, the Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee has one current vacancy with a term ending June 30, 2023, due to an unscheduled resignation; and five positions whose terms are scheduled to end as of June 30, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the pending vacancies on the Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee were announced and noticed pursuant to the terms of Government Code Section 54970, et. seq. (the “Maddy Act”); and
WHEREAS, the City Council received applications from community members interested in serving on the Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee; and WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds _____ , _____ , _____ , _____ , _____ and _____ possess the necessary qualifications to serve on the Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that _____ is hereby appointed as Business Representative or Community Member to serve on the Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee for a term commencing immediately and ending June 30, 2023; and, be it, further
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that _____ is hereby appointed as Business Representative or Community Member, and _____ , _____ , _____ and _____ are hereby appointed as Community Members, to serve on the Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee for terms commencing July 1, 2022, and ending June 30, 2024; and, be it, further
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that the FY2022-23 Local Roster of Boards, Commissions and Committees is hereby amended to include the aforementioned appointments.
