Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Emeryville Accepting The San Pablo Avenue Mid-Block Crosswalk Project, Project No. EPW 19103 (CIP No. 18221006) As Complete And Authorizing The City Engineer To File A Notice Of Completion With The Alameda County Clerk
WHEREAS, on March 3, 2020, City Council approved the project scope for the San Pablo Avenue Midblock Crosswalk Project which was originally identified by the Public Works and Bicycle and Pedestrian Advisory Committees; and
WHEREAS, the constructed work includes accessible pedestrian ramps, a large pedestrian refuge area in the median, and highly visible pedestrian/vehicular traffic control devices on San Pablo Avenue midway between Adeline and 40th Streets; and WHEREAS, on September 1, 2020, City Council awarded a contract to Burch Engineering & Construction Inc. in the amount of $155,375 to construct the project; and WHEREAS, the work is now complete and ready for acceptance by the City Council; and WHEREAS, once the final invoices are received, excess appropriations will be returned to the original funding source; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that the City accepts the San Pablo Avenue Mid-Block Crosswalk Project, Project 19103 (CIP No. 18221006) as complete and authorizes the City Engineer to file a Notice of Completion with the Alameda County Clerk.
