RESOLUTION NO. 22-
Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Emeryville Accepting A Donation In The Amount Of $10,000 From Stanford Health Care To The City Of Emeryville Community Services Department To Support Annual Community Events WHEREAS, the City of Emeryville’s Community Services Department offers community events where people congregate to partake in recreational, social activities and health and educational programs; and
WHEREAS, Pursuant to City policy, any monitory or in-kind donations to the City, valued at more than $250, must be approved by resolution by the City Council; and WHEREAS, Stanford Health Care, in partnership with the City of Emeryville, is offering a donation of $10,000 to provide financial support for the Harvest Festival and Spring Expo held annually at the Emeryville Center of Community Life; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Emeryville hereby accepts a donation in the amount of $10,000 from Stanford Health Care to subsidize the operating cost of that annual Harvest Festival and Spring Expo and appropriate said funds to Community Service Department fund 5410-62600.
