Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Emeryville Approving An Expenditure Of $45,068 Of ECCL Capital Reserve Funds For The Installation Of Security Gate Control Upgrades
WHEREAS, the current campus access conditions include gate timers and badge access, which also requires gates to be manually opened when parents or a member of the public come to visit Emery Unified School District, LifeLong Medical Care, and Emeryville Community Services Department.; and
WHEREAS, in order to improve the safety and control visitor access to the ECCL campus, staff are proposing to install security gate control upgrades; and WHEREAS, since the proposed work is over $25,000, the Master Joint Occupancy Agreement (JOA) between the City of Emeryville and Emery Unified School District for the Emeryville Center of Community Life (ECCL) provides that approval is required from both the City Council and the School Board for expenditures over $25,000; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Emeryville hereby approves an expenditure of $45,068 of ECCL Capital Reserve Funds for the installation of security gate control upgrades.
