Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Emeryville Appointing _____ As Business Representative Or Community Member For A Term Commencing December 20, 2022, And Ending June 30, 2023; Appointing _____ And _____ As Community Members For Terms Commencing December 20, 2022, And Ending June 30, 2024, To Serve On The Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee; And Amending The FY2022-23 Local Roster Of Boards, Commissions And Committees Accordingly
WHEREAS, the Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee has current vacancies for one Business Representative or Community Member with a term scheduled to end as of June 30, 2023, and two Community Members with terms scheduled to end as of June 30, 2024; and
WHEREAS, the current vacancies on the Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee were announced and noticed pursuant to the terms of Government Code Section 54970 et. seq. (the “Maddy Act”); and
WHEREAS, the City Council received applications from community members interested in serving on the Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee; and WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds that _____, _____ and _____ possess the necessary qualifications to serve on the Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that _____ is hereby appointed as Business Representative or Community Member to serve on the Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee for a term commencing December 20, 2022 and ending June 30, 2023; and, be it, further
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that _____ and _____ are hereby appointed as Community Members to serve on the Bicycle/Pedestrian Advisory Committee for terms commencing December 20, 2022 and ending June 30, 2024; and, be it, further
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that the FY2022-23 Local Roster of Boards, Commissions and Committees is hereby amended to include the aforementioned appointment.
