Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Emeryville Appointing _____ As Community Member To Serve On The Parks And Recreation Committee For A Term Commencing December 20, 2022, And Ending June 30, 2023; And Amending The FY2022-23 Local Roster Of Boards, Commissions And Committees Accordingly WHEREAS, the Parks and Recreation Committee has a current vacancy for a Community Member with a term scheduled to end as of June 30, 2023; and WHEREAS, the current vacancy on the Parks and Recreation Committee was announced and noticed pursuant to the terms of Government Code Section 54970 et. seq. (the “Maddy Act”); and
WHEREAS, the City Council received applications from community members interested in serving on the Parks and Recreation Committee; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds that _____ possesses the necessary qualifications to serve on the Parks and Recreation Committee; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that _____ is hereby appointed as Community Member to serve on the Parks and Recreation Committee for a term commencing December 20, 2022, and ending June 30, 2023; and, be it, further RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that the FY2022-23 Local Roster of Boards, Commissions and Committees is hereby amended to include the aforementioned appointment.
