Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Emeryville Authorizing The City Manager To Enter Into A Second Amendment to the Contract With Iteris, Inc. In The Amount Of $120,000.00 For New On-Call Traffic Engineering Consultant Services In Addition To The Existing Contract Scope For The Fiscal Year 2022/2023; Reducing The Fund 264 (CIP No. 15240017, PB-05) Appropriation by $40,000, And Appropriating $40,000 From Fund 264, Appropriating $40,000.00 From Fund 262, And Appropriating $40,000.00 From Fund 475 (For Various Capital Projects) For The Amended Contract Amount Of $120,000
WHEREAS, on July 23, 2019, the City Council of the City of Emeryville adopted Resolution No. 19-110 which authorized the Contract; and WHEREAS, on July 1, 2022 the City Manager of the City of Emeryville authorized and executed one of two one-year extensions for the Contract; and WHEREAS, Emeryville Public Works staff have determined that Iteris, Inc. has demonstrated through the course of their work that it possesses the qualifications and expertise to effectively complete additional tasks similar in nature to the scope of the existing contract; and
WHEREAS, the City has a need to complete additional Traffic Engineering tasks that align with the expertise of Iteris, Inc.; and
WHEREAS, the total amount of the Contract with amendments shall not exceed $440,000.00; and
WHEREAS, there are adequate funds available in the Fiscal Year 2022/2023 for Professional Services Funds 262, 264, and 475 now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that the City Manager is authorized to enter into a Second Amendment to the Contract in the amount of $ 120,000.00 with Iteris, Inc. for New On-Call Traffic Engineering Consultant Services for the Fiscal Year 2022/2023; and, be it, further
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that reducing the Fund 264 (CIP No. 15240017, PB-05) appropriation by $40,000, and Appropriating $40,000 from Fund 264, appropriating $40,000.00 from Fund 262, and appropriating $40,000.00 from Fund 475 (For Various Capital Projects) for the Amended contract amount Of $120,000.
