Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Emeryville Amending The Regular Meeting Schedule Of The Community Services Committee; And Amending The FY2022-23 Local Roster Of Boards, Commissions And Committees Accordingly Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Emeryville Amending The Regular Meeting Schedule Of The Parks and Recreation Committee; And Amending The FY2022-23 Local Roster Of Boards, Commissions And Committees Accordingly Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Emeryville Amending The Regular Meeting Schedule Of The Public Safety Committee; And Amending The FY2022-23 Local Roster Of Boards, Commissions And Committees Accordingly Recommendation
Staff recommends that the City Council approve the above-entitled Resolutions. A separate Resolution will be approved for each Committee.
Discussion
Community Services Committee
The Community Services Committee currently meets at 5:30 PM on the 4th Monday of every month, which creates scheduling conflicts for the current Committee members. At their meeting on May 22, 2023, the Committee voted unanimously to request that the City Council amend their regular meeting schedule to convene at 1:30 PM on the 4th Monday of every month. The Committee will continue to meet at the Emeryville Center of Community Life, located at 4727 San Pablo Avenue, Emeryville, California.
Parks and Recreation Committee
The Parks and Recreation Committee currently meets at 5:30 PM on the 3rd Wednesday of every month, which creates scheduling conflicts for the current Committee members.
At their meeting on May 17, 2023, the Committee voted unanimously to request that the City Council amend their regular meeting schedule to convene at 6:00 PM on the 3rd Wednesday of every month. The Committee will continue to meet at the Emeryville Center of Community Life, located at 4727 San Pablo Avenue, Emeryville, California.
Public Safety Committee
The Public Safety Committee currently meets at 4:00 PM on the 2nd Thursday of every month, which creates scheduling conflicts for the current Committee members. The members discussed and agreed to request that the City Council amend their regular meeting schedule to convene at 4:00 PM on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. The Committee will continue to meet at the Civic Center, located at 1333 Park Avenue, Emeryville, California.
