Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Emeryville Appointing _____ As Business Representative For A Term Commencing Immediately And Ending June 30, 2024; Appointing _____ As Business Representative, And _____ As City Labor Representative, For Terms Commencing July 1, 2023, And Ending June 30, 2025, To Serve On The Budget Advisory Committee; And Amending The FY2023-24 Local Roster Of Boards, Commissions And Committees Accordingly WHEREAS, the Budget Advisory Committee has one position currently vacant, and two positions whose terms are scheduled to end as of June 30, 2023; and WHEREAS, the pending vacancies on the Budget Advisory Committee were announced and noticed pursuant to the terms of Government Code Section 54970, et. seq. (the “Maddy Act”); and WHEREAS, the City Council received applications from community members interested in serving on the Budget Advisory Committee; and WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds that , and possess the necessary qualifications to serve on the Budget Advisory Committee; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that _____ is hereby appointed as Business Representative to serve on the Budget Advisory Committee for a term commencing immediately and ending June 30, 2024; and, be it, further RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that _____ is hereby appointed as Business Representative, and _____ is hereby appointed as City Labor Representative, to serve on the Budget Advisory Committee for terms commencing July 1, 2023, and ending June 30, 2025; and, be it, further RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that the FY2023-24 Local Roster of Boards, Commissions and Committees is hereby amended to include the aforementioned appointments.
