RESOLUTION NO. 23-131
Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Emeryville Authorizing The City Manager To Issue An Initial Purchase Order In The Amount Of Fifty-Two Thousand Two Hundred Forty-Nine Dollars and Fifty-Two Cents ($52,249.52), As Well As Additional Purchase Orders To SHI Over The Next Three Years To Provide Microsoft Licensing As Needed In An Amount Not To Exceed Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000)
WHEREAS, the City has existing licensing with Microsoft that will expire in November 2023; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to continue to use Microsoft products; and WHEREAS, the City is already invested in the Microsoft Azure Cloud, a best-fit, modern platform solution; and
WHEREAS, SHI is able to provide the necessary licensing and the best price to the City; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Emeryville authorizes the City Manager to issue an initial purchase order in the amount of fifty-two thousand two hundred fortynine dollars and fifty-two cents ($52,249.52), as well as additional purchase orders to SHI over the next three years to provide Microsoft licensing as needed in an amount not to exceed two hundred fifty thousand dollars ($250,000)
