Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Emeryville Authorizing The City Manager To Execute A Grant Agreement With The City Of Oakland In The Amount Of $50,000 For FY2023-24 For The 8 To Go Paratransit Shuttle Service WHEREAS, Alameda County Measure BB Funds are distributed to Alameda County Cities through Direct Local Distribution for the purposes of providing Paratransit Services to its residents; and
WHEREAS, the City of Emeryville desires to continue providing paratransit services to the residents of the 94608-zip code through the 8 To Go program; and WHEREAS, the City of Oakland has agreed to partially fund the 8 To Go program since it services Oakland residents, and
WHEREAS, the City of Emeryville will use Direct Local Distribution Funding from the Alameda County Transportation Commission from Measure BB to fund the remainder of the program; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Emeryville hereby authorizes the City Manager to execute the Grant Agreement for the ‘8 To Go’ Paratransit Shuttle Service with the City of Oakland in the Amount of $50,000.
