Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Emeryville Authorizing The City Manager To Submit An Application And Accept Grant Funding From The Alameda County Transportation Commission (Alameda-CTC) Paratransit Discretionary Grant Program For An Expanded Transportation Program In An Amount Up To $1,167,779.19 for FY2024-2029
WHEREAS, the Alameda County Transportation Commission offers a Paratransit Discretionary Grant Program to expand transportation services; and WHEREAS, the City of Emeryville staff envisions this grant as an opportunity to expand paratransit transportation services outside the Emeryville Community to seek specialized services and increase social and recreational engagement; and WHEREAS, the Grant will focus on mobility management activities that improve consumers’ ability to access services, improve coordination between programs, and/or address gaps in the transportation system; now, therefore, be it RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Emeryville authorizes the City Manager to submit an application and accept grant funding from the Alameda County Transportation Commission (Alameda-CTC) Paratransit Discretionary grant program for an expanded transportation program in an amount up to $1,167,779.19 for FY2024- 2029.
