Definition/Purpose It is the overall goal of the Alameda County Mosquito Abatement District to provide for the public’s health and comfort by carrying on a program of mosquito control and source reduction which is responsive to the public, is cost effective, compatible with the environment, and is consistent with land use planning or zoning.
