Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Emeryville Authorizing The City Manager To Enter Into A One (1) Year Maintenance Contract In The Amount Of $1,016,750.68 That Includes Subcontracting Vendor Services With George S. Hall, Inc. For Citywide Maintenance / Construction Services At Various City Owned Buildings For Fiscal Year 2024/25, And Authorizing The City Manager To Execute Up To Four (4) Additional One-Year Extensions Not To Exceed A Total Contract Value Of $4,378,734.36, Contingent Upon The City Council Appropriating Funds For The Applicable Fiscal Year
WHEREAS, the City conducted an RFP For a contract for citywide maintenance / construction services at various City-owned buildings; and WHEREAS, in response to this RFP, the City received one proposal for Citywide maintenance construction services at various City-owned buildings on May 22, 2024; and WHEREAS, staff reviewed the proposal and identified George S. Hall Inc. as qualified to enter into a contract; and
WHEREAS, the approved operating budget for fiscal year 2024/25, and General Major Maintenance Program Project 15650008 Fund 650 includes sufficient funds to cover the cost of the contract; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that the City Manager is authorized to enter into an agreement with George S. Hall Inc. for $1,016,750.68 attached hereto as Exhibit A, and be it further
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that the City Manager is authorized to extend the agreement for fiscal year 2025/26 in the amount of $823,085.72, for fiscal year 2026/27 in the amount of $829,547.36, for fiscal year 2027/28 in the amount of $846,024.68, and for fiscal year 2028/29 in the amount of $863,825.92 for a total amount not to exceed $4,378,734.36; and be it further
RESOLVED, that the City Manager is authorized to enter into minor amendments provided they do not increase the total compensation of the contract.
