Why are you interested in serving on this Board, Commission or Committee? As a senior citizen, myself, I have had a long-standing interest in the health, well-being, and safety of the elderly. I spearheaded the formation of the tenant association at the Avalon Senior Housing in the southside of Emeryville and led a number of civic engagement projects like the construction of the $263K city-funded Mid-Block San Pablo Crosswalk on San Pablo/40th Street; Get Out the Vote Project; and community response to the San Pablo Avenue Bus and Bike Lanes Project. I was also one of the writers of the Emeryville Age-Friendly 2022 Action Plan. And I LOVE our great city!
