Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Emeryville Appointing _____ As Business Representative, And Appointing _____ And _____ As Residents, To Serve On The Budget Advisory Committee For Terms Commencing July 1, 2024, And Ending June 30, 2026; And Amending The FY2024-25 Local Roster Of Boards, Commissions And Committees Accordingly
WHEREAS, the Budget Advisory Committee has three positions whose terms are scheduled to end as of June 30, 2024; and
WHEREAS, the pending vacancies on the Budget Advisory Committee were announced and noticed pursuant to the terms of Government Code Section 54970, et. seq. (the “Maddy Act”); and
WHEREAS, the City Council received applications from community members interested in serving on the Budget Advisory Committee; and
WHEREAS, the City Council hereby finds that _____, _____ and _____ possess the necessary qualifications to serve on the Budget Advisory Committee; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that _____ is hereby appointed as Business Representative to serve on the Budget Advisory Committee for a term commencing July 1, 2024, and ending June 30, 2026; and, be it, further RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that _____ and _____ are hereby appointed as Residents to serve on the Budget Advisory Committee for terms commencing July 1, 2024, and ending June 30, 2026; and, be it, further RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Emeryville that the FY2024-25 Local Roster of Boards, Commissions and Committees is hereby amended to include the aforementioned appointments.
