Resolution Of The City Council Of The City Of Emeryville Authorizing The City Manager To Accept A Mass Care And Casualty Trailer From The County Of Alameda WHEREAS, the City of Emeryville Emergency Plan authorizes the acquisition of supplies needed for the protection of life; and
WHEREAS, the County of Alameda requested partner agencies in the County to accept Mass Care and Shelter Trailers stocked equipped with 150 regular and 10 ADA cots and provides a valuable mobile resource to provide shelter in an emergency; and WHEREAS, the County of Alameda will provide the Mass Care and Shelter Trailer and all equipment contained within to the City of Emeryville at no cost and the trailer will not require any City funds to maintain except for annual DMV registration and insurance; and WHEREAS, during a regional disaster having additional shelter supplies locally available will support the emergency response to provide assistance to displaced victims; now, therefore, be it
RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Emeryville authorizes the City Manager to accept a Mass Care and Shelter Trailer from the County of Alameda.
